Having your gown cleaned by a professional can help keep your dress in the best possible condition. It is very important to take your gown to an experienced Cleaner and have it cleaned and ready for storage as quickly as possible after the wedding. The gown is first inspected to determine how it should be cleaned. Beading, fabric content, stains, and the age of the gown are all things that should be considered before recommending proper cleaning and storage. The proper cleaning method is then determined: dry cleaning, hand washing, spot cleaning, or our own “Trella Cleaning” method. After the gown is cleaned, any loose trim or beading is repaired. The gown is then packaged and boxed to preserve and reduce the chance of injury to the fabric.
